New York International Numismatic Convention
New York, New York
The largest and most prestigious United States numismatic event focused on world and ancient coins, with over 100 international dealers and multiple major auction houses. Offerings are restricted to foreign and ancient numismatic items.
Held each January at the InterContinental New York Barclay in Midtown Manhattan, the NYINC traditionally opens the numismatic year and is the leading United States venue for world and ancient coins. More than 100 dealers from around the globe exhibit, and the convention is built around a concentrated week of major auctions.
Several of the world's top auction houses hold official sales during the convention week, offering ancient Greek and Roman, medieval, and modern world coinage along with world paper money. Unlike general U.S. shows, the NYINC bourse is restricted to foreign and ancient numismatic material, drawing specialists and international collectors to New York.
