The Central States Numismatic Society was founded in 1939, and its spring convention is one of the largest coin shows in the Midwest. The 2026 event is the society's 87th Anniversary Convention, held April 22-25 at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center at 1551 North Thoreau Drive in Schaumburg, Illinois.
Beyond the dealer bourse of roughly 400 tables, the convention features major numismatic auctions, competitive and educational exhibits, club meetings, and educational programs. Parking at the convention center and host hotel is free.
